Meet JJM The Team
Jack (left)
I’m Jack and I joined the motor trade in 2011, being only 16 at the time, my career initially started as work experience, and after being shown a kettle and the art of brewing a decent tea, it very quickly turned into the offer of an apprenticeship.
I then successfully completed my apprenticeship and level 3 NVQ in 2015 and I continued working at the Volkswagen main dealership for a while, after a few years I felt like there wasn’t really much more to learn there and I didn’t see it as much of a challenge anymore, so I decided to go and try an ‘independent’ garage and found that I much prefer the working environment, it’s more about having a good chat with a customer and actually fixing cars, compared to a dealership where it’s all figures and statistics etc.
And now since 2020, I’m at JJM, co owning a business with two of my lifelong friends, no two days are the same and it genuinely doesn’t feel like I’m going to work as such anymore. I’m genuinely proud to offer the service that we do to our customers and it’s lovely to see the same faces return every year.
Jason (middle)
I’m Jason and I came into the motor trade in 2012 i started studying motor vehicle repairs at Vision West Nottinghamshire College, from there I went on to be an apprentice at a local Independent garage learning the trade and working on a wide range of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
I then moved on to work at Volkswagen Group with extensive training and progression with a meticulous eye and a positive attitude. From here I decided to re-train as a Locomotive Engineer at East Midlands Railway with extensive knowledge and skills to maintain and repair Trains to keep them running at all times with a very stringent manor.
In 2021 when covid hit, Me, Jack and Mark decided we wanted to work for our self’s. This is when we decided to start our business venture, repairing customers vehicles with all our combined skills and knowledge and also being courteous to pricing our work and being a fair and reliable garage.
Mark (right)
I’m mark, I came into the motor trade in 2000 as an apprentice technician at a main dealer where I gained my formal full qualification in automotive mechanical repair, since then I have worked various rolls within the industry to gain further experience and wealth of knowledge and qualifications to meet or in most cases exceed personal and professional targets to deliver the very best for employers and customers alike.
During the last 5 years, working as team JJM, I’m proud to deliver excellence to our customers by sharing many years of hard work and knowledge.
